THE ANTI-FRAGILE CLASSROOM: A PEDAGOGY FOR WELLBEING
School of Media and Communication collaborate with UAL Insights for an outreach intervention day workshop titled 'The Anti-fragile Collective: A Pedagogy for Wellbeing'.
UAL Insights and SMC hosted an online workshop for school teachers drawing on ideas around radical pedagogies and its impact on student and staff wellbeing.
Led by LCF academic Charlotte Troy, the session explored how we can incorporate philosophical and political debate into our pedagogic practices within the wider socio-political environment through consciousness-raising seminars, our position through identity politics and character-building workshops, and speculative culture-building. The day workshop culminated in creating a teacher’s manifesto setting forth the rituals, restrictions and relationships we wish to cultivate in our pedagogic practices.
